About us
The beginning
Since 1985, we have specialised in the development, manufacture and production of special materials and processes for dental technology. Casting compounds, polyvinyl siloxanes and cuvette systems quickly emerged as our initial areas of focus; these were later joined by components for microscopes and lighting systems for laboratories and dental practices, among other things.
Today, the company is primarily known for high-tech magnifying glasses and LED power spots for dentists and doctors in various fields.
Precision optics and LED power spots
As one of the first dental companies, DCI recognised the importance of optoelectronic lights (LED) for use in connection with magnifying visual aids back in 2002. The aim was to develop coaxial light that was mobile and economical to improve illumination of the oral cavity.
These mini surgical lights are lightweight, tiny, provide bright white light, are unbreakable and durable. What's more, they offer maximum performance at an affordable price.
A pioneering achievement
At the 2007 International Dental Show (IDS), DCI presented the first pure white light LED. Since then, the company has been producing these with various adaptations for many well-known magnifying glasses manufacturers in Germany and abroad.
Wide range of services
Our field opticians support doctors, dentists and clinics throughout the German-speaking region. The services offered range from optical measurements and adjustments to training in ergonomic working methods.
